Morgan Ashley’s passion for music is all about connections.   Growing up in Los Angeles, CA, she was inspired by great vocalists such as Whitney Houston, Brandy, Mariah Carey, and Toni Braxton.    She admired how these amazing women connected with her and their fans through their music and with their amazing voices.  Sitting in her room listening to music she could feel what they were expressing through their music.

As an artist, Morgan strives to build that same connection with her fans through her music and performances.  Through that universal connection, she wants to spread love, laughter, and joy.  Singing and performing not only brings her joy, but it makes her happy when she can bring a smile to the face of her fans.  When she performs she feeds off the energy that the audience gives to her.

Known as the girl with the big hair and an even bigger voice, her sound is as a mix of contemporary pop and 90’s RnB.  Her voice is impactful and full of depth.  As a young girl, her singing talents developed in church where she sang with the choir.  Her big voice provided many opportunities for solo renditions and even at a young age she could feel the connection she had with the congregation when she sung in church.

On her newest project “I Blame Love,” Morgan takes her fans on a musical journey of experiencing the different phases of love by learning to take a chance on love knowing that love is not always butterfly kisses and the sunshine.   The vibe of the project is upbeat, inviting, and honest.  Morgan hopes listeners will connect with the personal nature of the songs.

As a teen, Morgan started recording professionally.   She has performed all over the west coast at many notable venues including the House of Blues and Key Club in Hollywood.  In 2004, she won first place, Grand Champion title in the “Tawag nang Tanghalan USA” (Calling for the Champions, USA) competition held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.  In 2010, Morgan participated in The Break Out Star competition with KIIS FM’s annual "Wango Tango" event held at Universal Studios.  In 2012, Morgan represented Mix-TV on Direct TV, a division of The Filipino Channel (TFC), in San Francisco as a host of their Top Ten music videos televised internationally through the ABS-CBN TFC channel.

Morgan is now a young lady on the pulse of taking the music industry and the world by storm…spreading joy, light, laughter, and positivity through her music!!
